Last week I started a summer series called Feisty Fridays. Since we are well into those lazy days of summer, I thought we would shake things up a bit in the world of kids room design. Today it’s…well, as you can see naming this post is a challenge. Taxidermy! Funny, bold, sophisticated, whimsical, and perfect for a personal touch in a kid’s room. Enjoy!
I am having a little emotional affair with Kantha quilts lately. Not only are they popping up everywhere, but also what craftspeople are making with them is extremely exciting in the design world for kid’s rooms.
By now I’m sure most of you realize I not only like beautiful, well-made things. But I also get easily tickled by clever ideas that incorporate design with inspiration and conversation. These plush pillows are a perfect example.
Designed for you by a designer that knows you inside and out, your kids.
Since I made these Green Apple Pillows a few years ago, I have had a ridiculous amount of requests to make more. While I have nothing better to do what with a daily blog, two kids, a husband, a dog, 7 chickens, 20 pounds to lose, and 3 trips coming up, I thought I would produce some more!
Tomorrow, April 24th is “Admin Day” formerly known as Secretary’s Day. Time for your kids to thank the school secretary, or what I like to call “The Other Mother.”
