This Sunday morning while wandering around the bustling Larkspur Landing, I found myself surrounded by the bold and fresh designs of Roberta Freymann at Roberta Roller Rabbit.
This gorgeous store is covered from floor to ceiling in bedding, curtains, accessories and clothing all created by Roberta and hand blocked by artisans in India. The unusual name was inspired by a fable of a magical rabbit that Roberta found on a piece of discarded fabric in India.
With prints that include monkeys, elephants, fish and camels, the lucky kid who sleeps in these lovely pieces will feel like they are literally wrapped in a painting.
With the colors ranging from intense pinks to rich ultramarine blues, both boys and girls have plenty to choose from.
But it you get a bit jealous, you can also treat yourself to a variety of lunch bags, purses and totes. The prints are youthful and whimsical, but embody sophistication and clarity.
Even the stenciled golden yellow walls continue the whimsical fairytale feeling throughout the store.
I encourage you to visit her website at www.robertarollerrabbit.com. Read about Roberta’s story of artistic discovery. And search her store locator to find a shop in your area.
Simply Lovely and Gorgeous!
